Northwest Iowa | Pat, You made the choice to be as capital intensive as you wanted to be. You could have gone the grazeing route yourself if that it that much less. Please stop and think about the position of the fellow NAT members before you post this kind of statement, so far your credability has gone down hill fast. I crop farm with my FIL (cattle feeder-Very capital intensive) and my BIL (pork producer- also capital intensive) and myself =dairy. Ag is capital based and if you don't like it, sell your cows like you are telling the hog guys to do, same thing. My milk check has gone down the same as yours and others but the whineing is only comeing from one place on this forum. | |
