Thanks Jim. I think we need to be careful we don't start counting on having weather like this in March next year. Forecast looks to cool off. This first one is confirmed as a heifer. Being in herd-building mode, a heifer from a reliable breeding and calving young cow by a good beefy bull is just what I am looking for. I'm pretty sure she will be a keeper. This one is out of my Huth U070 bull. While checking sex on this first calf, three curious yearling heifers came over to do their own checking on the new addition to the herd. Jim at Dawn
