Rich, I agree. I like the real locking hubs. The lady of the place wants/needs a 4WD and she hates getting out to turn in hubs so her outfit don't have hubs or even a lever/button to make it 4WD. Thus there is peace on that front. 

Pop's outfit has a lever but the screwball way that MOPAR has of making drivers believe they have something to replace the locking hubs is pure and simple foolishness. All they have done since about 1976 is to just unhook one axle in the front. U-joints still turn, the axles still turn, and if the ring gear & pinion aren't turning, then the spider gears in the diff are merrily spinning away. Take a look at your Dodge sometime and see if you can explain why stuff up there lasts as long as it does.
