Most of the bigger more successful farmers that buy most of the land in this area do not get any better yeilds than the guys that no-till. They are able to buy land because either they have old family money or very good credit. Spending an extra $30+ an acre on tillage for the same yeild does not add profit it only allows more soil to wash and blow away. Patrick
