One Time on One Field & for sure not when we had these prices!

I did not know it at the time but that demonstrated what a high CEC will do for or too us.

AA is another cation and the soil here has a 50 CEC. Rule of thumb says 50 CEC will hold 500 lbs N, when in fact that 1230 lbs/N was still working through 7 seasons.
IF there had been 500 0-0-60 and 1,000 lbs K-Mag the bermudagrass hay yield would have been enough more to use the nitrogen up in maybe five years.
That was not my objective. My objective was to see if large amounts of anhydrous would kill the soil and turn it to concrete.

Not only did the soil stay productive but the Earth Worms did well also.
On the down side the AA did not discourage the Imported Red Fire Ant.
