peter johnson is guy too ask at Stratford OMAF office...looks like $15-20 here per big sq. bale,,generally it just pays for fert. too replace it, our clay loam needs all the help it can get..what did work for a friend last yr. was red clover down on wheat and baled straw off,then baled clover off real late and no tilled corn this spring into it--saved lots of fuel and corn looks good
