The object of the post was to find possible causes for the spread out deal.
Hopefully a combo of those possibles discussed may start to cure things BEFORE fall workup/PG tests etc., this year.

Granted this summer maybe be cooler....thus if the extreme heat was the problem that dwindles too.

Black cattle are so much hotter than others in real heat that it can be significant.

Ideal temp for all cattle is in fact 55 degrees ambient ( real feel ).
( ideal temp for alot of people is in fact 75 degrees ambient ).

Warming a cow up to 100 to 110 ambient, is EXACTLY like warming you up to 140 to 150 degrees.

(btw, what color coat you wanna wear at those high ambient temps?)
