| It makes it hard when the arguments you made were full of false information. It's well-known in the GIS industry that shape files are still the standard file format and supported by everyone in the industry. I'm curious who told you of these limitations or did you make them up?
Wonderful, so you don't believe this industry needs a standard file format. That contradicts what another person posted on here that said no one is arguing the need for a common file standard but just doesn't thin it should be the shape file. If you only use a single companies equipment I'm sure you're fine with no standard but when you work with many it sucks. Data management in Precision Ag is a headache and full of limitations because we don't have standard format.
Lastly, if Ag Leader has nothing to hide, then why encrypt their data? I want to read their files in Excel. Nope it takes about 10 steps and several minutes to do that using SMS. | |
