Ripley, Ontario Canada | I am glad not to be calving now, my bull doesn't go out till Aug 3 or 4 calve May and June. Works for me, I don't have good yards, and the mud is not guaranteed to be gone ( or at least manageable) till May. If you have time now to calve that is good, but it is a lot more work than calving on grass, although given a choice between now and late March/early April I would pick now, just the way the weather works here. | |
