Subject: RE: Direct Command wiring on rogator

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
According to my Raven cable book, the pins at the 4 pole AMP connector have the following descriptions:

Pin #1 - Decrease
Pin #2 - Not Used
Pin #3 - Increase
Pin #4 - Signal to Light in Cab - Valve Maxed Out

So hook the Inc/Dec pair to #1 & #3 and try the rig. If Increase and Decrease are backwards -reverse the two wires.

The valve Maxed Wire can still go to the light in the cab. I often wire in LEDs across the Inc/Dec pair of wires so that the operator can see the control circuit in action. This can be very helpful in setting the control valve parameters and for troubleshooting.
