| WE had them in stock tanks for years.
WE started with 3 so we figured we would probably get at least one male and one female.
We had upwards of 30 in the one tank. we moved some to another farm with 2 bigger tanks.
Eventually those tanks were converted to a Ritchie waterer. We put a couple fish in there and they lasted along time. Every so often we would find one out on the ground and threw them back in the fountain.
The heating element was kind of hard on them.
WE had one made it through a small pipe that connected the tanks. He was the only one in a 500 gallon tank and when we took him out he went around a 5 gallon bucket 1 1/2 times. | |
