Ne Colorado | Some 30 years ago we had a hybrid goldfish in several of our pasture tanks under windmills. Old cut up grain bin water tanks. Think they were about 5,000-ish gallons. They did more than thrive in there. We had some of them that were like fat green footballs. Unfortunately, we had to scoop all of them out. We had a FSA agent that was telling everyone it was inhumane to have fish in there like that and not “regulated” or properly managed. Not sure there was any regulation on something like that but she’s was one of those people in a position it wasn’t worth fighting her.
Iv also heard of people trying trout. Not sure how that’s worked out.
Also if anyone has found a way to have crab, lobster, shrimp ect in water tanks……3 hour trip to red lobster could be cut down to a walk to the pasture.
