E. Kansas | We put some in concrete and tire water tanks around 10 years ago and they are still in several of them. This is on pond water. Some of these tanks are not kept open during the winter and will freeze over but the fish survive fine. We put maybe 5 to 10 per tank. At one time I bet the number got up to 50+ fish in one tank. Some bigger ones and lots of small ones. They seem to help keep the tanks clean and the kids always liked to watch for them. Not sure how well they would do in a Richie tank. | |
