Subject: RE: Rate controller underapplying

East Central, Nebraska
you just have to go down the check list and find whatever value isn't true and fix it.

-speed, does your sprayer monitor speed match your gps speed?
-application width, if your using gps for guidance you know the width is right on that, are you certain it is correct on the sprayer monitor? are acres coming out correctly?
-flow, if you think your flow meter is reading correctly, make sure that the pressure gauge agrees. check the chart for your speed/width/rate and ensure the pressure and speed match the flow the monitor is showing.

we run an agleader monitored sprayer and a trimble. the ag leader will show us what the pwm is putting out, i often find that when it is at 100% but not keeping up with rate that something is plugged. most people check the screens and that is it. you might look for some kind of obstruction in the flow meter. i have seen blockage there create odd circumstances.
