Subject: RE: Rate controller underapplying

East Central, Nebraska
when you say valve motor, is this setup like a bypass system? so your pump is set to same flow all the time or is it a pwm? recently on our nitro we have had problems with the valve on the pwm not changing the rate promptly.

how are you able to confirm the flow meter is operating properly? to diagnose that you should be able to look up the flow of your tips and at what pressure and speed and a pressure gauge should tell you if its applying properly. if your flow meter says its fine and your pressure is lower than it should be i would change the calibration number on the flow meter or send it in to see what is going on with it. i would check width settings in the monitor to see if maybe a section width got change accidently. i am not familiar with your monitor but if it doesn't make a map on the go you would never really know if widths are set correctly.

i would check monitor setting numbers and if that all looks good take a good look at the flow meter.

one more idea would be to download a speedometer on your phone to ensure the speed is correct. from lack of info in your post i am unsure if your using a gps for steering or just a little puck for speed. if you have a separate monitor sending gps to the dickey then you should be able to confirm the two match, if your using some kind of puck then there is likely a speed calibration number that would be critical for proper application.
