NWIL | No kidding.
In my locale which doesn't span all that many miles and encompasses pretty good ground I planted 33500 for years, a few trials over years have had me bumping up until now I'm at 35500-36000, anything over that I start going backwards both agronomically and economically. I do a lot more comparisons now that its a matter of typing in desired population compared to when I was out there changing sprockets. Come through in the fall and its as easy as watching the yield map to correlate with what I did in the spring. I still run several strips a year as a verification. | |
