Guys that sell seed like to sell seed.  

Its hard for some of them to comprehend that we have acres that will consistently yield more by planting less seed.  When you have ground that is severely limited in moisture holding capacity, more plants is not the answer.  



20 ears big enough to land on the stripper plates and go through the machine probably lands more corn on a truck than 36 ears that are so small they go through the stripper plates and land on the ground.....
