From my understanding, it is not necessarily the next leap second that will turn them into bricks, but when the internal clock runs out of time with GLONASS. That's what happened a couple springs ago and we were able to rescue the GLONASS machines with firmware. Firmware will not be made anymore for GeoSteers or Paradymes. That last time, it was onlt the GLONASS enables rigs effected.
So are paradymes going to be toast in the next 6 to 18 months?
