Subject: Well house heating

Wimberley, TX

During the cold weather in TX last week a pipe broke in our well house. Now pvc pipe and fittings are impossible to find. I intend to be proactive and be better prepared should this happen again.

You guys know heat, what type of heater could I put in the well house? Approximately 80 square feet. Plan to insulate to R19. Electric heat would be the best but that failed last week when we lost power. There is a propane tank about 10 ft away.

Would something like this be OK?  https://www.rvheatershop.com/camco-olympian-wave-3-lp-portable-gas-catalytic-heater-by-3000-btu-can-warm-up-to-130-square-feet-of-space-57331/

I could run off of a portable propane tank or plumb directly to the house propane tank.
