Subject: Whole House Water Filter Issue

Lone Wolf, Ok
Municiapal Water Supply 24 psi supplied to me.

I added a Grundfaus Booster Pump (Scala 2) last Fall

Excellent Pressure/Flow -from multiple things simultaneously - Could Wash Clothes/Take Shower/Run Dishwasher - all were Great Pressure

Have had 2 x bad pumps -- 1st gasket - 34,000 Gal Extra -- 2nd minor leak --

When I received the 3rd I was told that to enforce future warranty - I must install a whole house filter in front of the pump -- bought/installed 800 Series Water Filter in Front of Pump

I have great pressure for 1 thing only now very little pressure if I open 2 valves at same time.

Tried with bypass on the filter head - no change

watched pressure gauges - when pump running 24 psi on inlet/24-30 psi on outlet - static 24/75 psi (Regardless of bypass on filter head position)

Any Ideas? -- the only info that the filter head/filter came with was 15,000 gal life of filter

Is there a flow rating on Filter Heads? -- If the Pump could 'suck' water before, Can it 'suck' through Filter (you would think bypass would eliminate an issue, but?)

Suggestions appreciated
