North Central IL | My wife is considering it for a year. Our kids will be in 3rd, 2nd, K, and pre-K. We just see the mask situation being a trainwreck with kids that age. Also, seems like a lot of uncertainty with how the year will go, and what changes will constantly be taking place. Might be a better situation to just get them settled into the routine of an online school and then readdress next summer. Our school has registration coming up soon, before plans are even given out, so who even knows what's going to happen at this point. They haven't even decided if it's going to be a hybrid schedule of home and in-person, staggered schedules throughout the day of people coming and going, and social distancing. A logistical hassle. Just wondering if anyone else is considering this, and if so, what online schools are you using? We have seen some teacher supported, affordable, challenging curriculum. Thanks. | |
