nebraska | I haven't seen anything like this weather today, with the snow melting and with over 2" of rain we have rivers everywhere, gravel roads are blocked everywhere,,,
The town of Cedar rapids is blocked off with water, Ice jams are causing the river to run out all over,, the nws was talking evacuations of Cedar and Belgrade, the plum creek West of Albion is 1/4 to half mile wide in places,. Highway 91 East and West of Albion is closed, 56 east, west of Cedar is closed,,
This mess looks like we have had over 10" in a few hours but I had less than a half inch at 6 this morning, then an 1.65" before 8am now it shows 2.25"
