The Low here yesterday morning was 7 degrees.. with a stiff wind making the wind chill 8 below.  We are still struggling to get late planted wheat to emerge and we have no snow cover.  Most operations are down about a third or more.. we got about 55% of our intended acreage in.  It is not sure at this time that all the wheat we planted will emerge.. or survive this winter.

The HRW Wheat market has set back despite firmer prices now out of the Black Sea Region but we will soon get the Wheat Planting report on the 8th as well as prevented plantings.

One of the newer shuttle loaders is loading trains for the gulf and looking for higher protein wheats to blend off stocks of low pro in storage.
