Subject: Taking $ out of Mutual Funds?

Holland, Indiana (SW IN)
Need some of the good NAT advice I have bought quite a bit of land --just borrowed against my operating loan so far 5.5% interest --I need to make some changes
I remember the 80's all too well and what interest rates can do in a hurry--operating loan not for land --I remember the lesson
SO I have money in non IRA Mutual funds I can and will tap (NO Stock fund gives the same pleasure as LAND --yes I'm a farmer)
FWIW --I know some NAT member will ask --I'll still be taking out a longer term land loan --I'm not that wealthy
So #1 Take all out now-- eliminate the risk
#2-- 1/2 now 1/2 later
#3 wait--closed on the land first of the year
waiting this month has been good--but my NADS are shrinking

TIA Dan
