Holland, Indiana (SW IN)
davpal you hit a nerve --my Dad died with a bunch of stock and STUFF--investments--but he didn't care but once a year-if that--as you said in a drawer some place (piece of paper)
When he died liquidation to cash on most all (he had some Disney stock he wanted his grandchildren to split and have --PIA finally just sold it and gave cash)
AND WTF I don't care one bit about any of that stuff--have a couple bank stocks I like (local banks)
If I die destitute there will be blood in the street-from all the social upheaval--and I'll be packing a gun
I'm still keeping my IRA stuff-I think- but over the next year (after talking to my accountant) LIQUIDATE--I had only talked myself in to getting rid of part
Should put me debt free (unless I buy some more land cheap LOL)

Appreciate all who responded --LOVE the help on NAT

Dan
to add will be getting rid of some Funds I bought in 1977 (or 1987 memory lapse?) from Edward Jones ICA stuff they charged 7% front load I think

FWIW sold some today (market up)
