Subject: Nitrogen from litter estimates

Brainstorming here too much.

I know a nutrient test is needed to give a solid answer, but those with experience with litter (Turkey in my case), how much nitrogen would you expect from 6 tons of litter late summer or fall applied ahead of 2 years of corn. In year 1 corn and year 2 corn? I typically use 170-180# of N on first year corn. Some from AMS and some from late season Y drop depending on farm and year. Balance from urea pre plant or Anhydrous.
