Brainstorming here too much.

I know a nutrient test is needed to give a solid answer, but those with experience with litter (Turkey in my case), how much nitrogen would you expect from 6 tons of litter late summer or fall applied ahead of 2 years of corn. In year 1 corn and year 2 corn? I typically use 170-180# of N on first year corn. Some from AMS and some from late season Y drop depending on farm and year. Balance from urea pre plant or Anhydrous.

What type turkey? Breed? What type of feed was used for the turkey? Did any water lines break during the batch?

These are questions a guy who grows 43 million pounds of birds a year asked me when I told him I’d like to spread his manure instead of hiring him to do it.

I politely smiled and said, “Your hired”.
