What is the probability and could there be some environmental cause?

High school graduation class of 1986.

I was diagnosed with stage IIIA colon cancer at the age of 42 in 2009. Male.
At the exact same time another classmate was diagnosed with stage IIIB colon cancer at age of 42 in 2009. Female.
Just heard another classmate was diagnosed with stage III? colon cancer at the age of 49 in 2017. Male.

There were 20 people in our high school graduation class and all of us grew up and went to same school from kindergarten-12 grade. I realize colon cancer is one of the top incidences of cancer and my mind is too scattered right now to mathematically figure it out but the probabilities have to be astronomical.

People. GET A COLONOSCOPY!!!
