Subject: Would I be happy with an Ontrac 3 in my combine?

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I have a Deere 9770 combine. I bought it used and I don't believe it has any auto steer components. I have three InCommand 1200's, with GPS 6500's and SteerCommand ECU's in tractors. This year I moved one of the InCommand 1200's to the combine for yield monitoring. No attempt was made at auto steer.

I believe that I could move the 6500 and ECU from that tractor to the combine and use an Ontrac 3 motor for steering. Would this be a good plan or should one go with the hydraulic valves, plumbing and steering position sensor to go to true hydraulic steering?

It would mainly be used for harvesting row soybeans at an angle.
