SD/ND/FL | Can anyone shed some light on these guys?
I'm curious about farmland investment people given that I own land but dont actually farm it myself (I get a straight share of the crop). It boggles my mind how firms like this expect to generate decent returns with all of the overhead they have.
You need $100's of millions of land to negate the costs of the personnel. Ceres looks like they have a lot of staff to pay. Doesn't seem like a great model for their investors if we see any compression in rents. | |
