Subject: Moving up calving dates on late calving cows.

Marengo, Ia.
Because of a bull problem I had 2 cows calf late(last calf was 2 weeks ago).
What's the best way to get them closer to the rest of the herd?
I a.i. for April 1 calving then turn in the bull for cleanup. Usually done calving by may 15.
I've heard to pull the calves for 2 days. How soon can I do that? 1 month old? That would put me in that may timeframe.
Or should I just do my normal a.i. procedure, 7 day cider then lute, breed 2 days later.
Thanks.
