SE IL | The topic below came to mind when I read this article. Wal mart is muscling their suppliers to cut their costs so that wal mart can gain market share by cutting their retail prices. The grocery business is cutthroat too. When does a supplier tell their buyer to take a flyer? Doesn't this fly in the face of the small family farm(er)/direct to consumer movement? Is this the tail wagging the dog?
