sw ontario | KevinM--as farmers I don't think we realize how little companies net per $1 of sale----When (JDPlowboy edited) posted cattle and hog guys can pay more for feed ,things must be different where he farms as in Ontario the hog/cattle guys are surviving but not really prospering---lastest "net" dollars per hog F-F with all expenses and labor included left the average farmer /owner producer with 61 cents a hog......... the big "profit" days for commodities is over for now...
