Subject: 'Value added' comes of age within 3 years?

Dry side of Oregon
I heard from a conversation the other day that consistent trading of commodity grains based on 'quality' will become mainstream within 3 years.  Industrial trading of raw goods has been conducted on distinct characteristics for many years (read content of oils, starches, proteins, etc) and with the 'trickle down effect', it will finally make it to the production side.  Currently only when there happens a market demand for a particular constituent content does a premium exist.  Anyone care to comment?
