Subject: How to heat the second story of an old farmhouse??

Humeston, IA
We bought a remodeled old farmhouse - new siding, new windows, supposedly re-insulated, etc. However we have noticed the upstairs gets really cold. We run a space heater in our bedroom, but last night it was 50 degrees upstairs when we went to bed. I don't even want to think about how cold it's going to be on Monday. The former owners were heating with a wood burning stove, which they took with them and installed a HE gas furnace. No ductwork or space for duct work so the upstairs gets heated through floor vents.

Does anyone have any experience with the ductless heating and cooling systems or any suggestions on how to get the upstairs warmer?
