small town Iowa.... | Why don't you sell your farm to your greedy neighbor for $10-$12K per acre and move to town?
I hear farmers whine about how bad it is. Who is holding a gun to your head and keeping you there?
Good Lord, sell the place then get a $10.00 per job and live on easy street forever.
I don't know of any group of people around here that have it better than farmers. Do you think you could live on
city wages? Not a chance. I doubt most of you could hold a full time job. You can't go to the mill every morning for free coffee and donuts. You certainly won't be capable of working 9 hours a day 6 days a week.
The trouble with most farmers is, they have never been off the farm. You have no idea how the rest have to survive.
