mascoutah, IL | If I take my written now how long do I have to take the road test. Just got my truck and won't have a trailer for a month or two but would feel better if part of it was over. I've only driven a semi a few times but didn't have any real problems. My truck is an ultrashift so don't have to worry about the shifting part. Looks like the pre inspection and a few of the skills could be a little rough. I drove 24-28 ft straight trucks in the city for about 10 years part time. I know having the trailer is different. Guess I'm stressing out a bit but the good part is I really don't need the truck going till harvest so I guess I have a little time. I am open to any advice for those who have done it lately. | |
