I'm new to running a SP sprayer this year (JD 4630) and have a question on the speed ranges. I would like to run in the 12 -14 mph range when spraying. 1st gear tops out at around 13.8. Is there any benefit to running in 2nd gear with the hydro pulled back, or am I just as good to run in 1st gear with the hydro all the way forward? Just curious as to how you all run yours. Thanks.
