Subject: Ground coming out of CRP

Looking at renting a farm that is coming out of CRP (23 years). Ground is slightly rolling Rozetta soil. Contract has the potential to be indefinitely. Need to be able to post a strong bid as the neighbor is a BTO. Farm appears to have strong potential.

Want to know what everyone thinks the best strategy is transitioning to a no till or strip till system. Have had two people tell me just to burn it down and leave it alone. Then no till corn into it. This is what we normally would do with our hay ground and am leaning this way. I may run an Aerway over it. Just looking for some other opinions.

Only gave me three days to finish the bid. So short time frame. TIA!
