Somewhere in North central Iowa | Tried to rent a house for a weekend first in the Mankato, MN area then in the Dubuque, Ia area. Both listings were less than $100/night as advertised on the website. When I went to book they were $25 higher with a $100 cleaning fee and a service charge of about $35. Let’s just say I passed. What a joke. We just wanted a little more space than a hotel room.
