NW Missouri | Obviously it's a seller's market right now, but how much would you all expect dealers to negotiate?
We were looking at a 3-year-old SUV with 30k miles for the wife. We tried to look at it Saturday, but supposedly the GM had taken it home for the weekend and it wasn't on the lot (not sure I believe that, but whatever). So we went back yesterday.
They eventually agreed to waive their b.s. tack on fees at the end (which would've been a dealbreaker for me just based on principle), but they wouldn't budge at all on the price. We ended up buying it for the exact price that was listed online, but I wondered if that is the norm now, or if I gave in too soon? I had told my wife to be prepared to walk because I truly didn't think they were going to waive the b.s. fees either.
