Pittsburg, Kansas | Did a ride in the desert today with Dave and Dale. The trail started a mile or two east of Hope, Az. As we trailer through the the small town of Hope a sign just east of town read "You are now beyond Hope". I thought that was a good name for the ride so that is what I named the trail on my GPS, Beyond Hope. There was one particular mountain trail we went down then back up that was fitting.
Beautiful ride though. We passed a lot of nice desert scenery, a working gold mine with heavy machinery, a very old cemetery and a very large quartz vein. A lot of curvy mountain trails.
