Subject: RE: ? for Josh A about silage bales

Northwest Ohio
Smaller dairys love the silage bales period. Now when you open a bag how long do they last. Say you opened a 20 bale bag loaded it on the semi, delivered it, how soon does it have to be feed just sitting there un wrapped. There are guys that sell indivual wrapped hay to dairys, just wondering what the used the hay for dry cows, or milk cows. I am convinced that its a good idea but I 100% agree with Josh A about making sure there is a market. I was just wondering if you guys could help me with your experiences create a market around here. We have 30 big dairys within 1 and 1/2 hours from here. I dont want to effect others business just want to capitalize on the opportunity at hand. Thanks in advance, good reply Josh A thanks alot!
