EC Kansas | My Dad and his brother shucked corn for other people for the money. They got paid by the bushel, but I don't remember the amount. They could get a 100 bushel a day each in good corn. They were in their 20's when they did this, back in 1930's. These pictures were taken about 1946. A good team of horses made the job easier, they had to keep up with the shucker with voice commands.
