I'd tear off the existing and build new. Layout and dimension, as close as you can to material sizing (multiples of 4x8) to minimize waste. Use plywood instead of osb, at least on the roof, walls can be osb if budget is critical. It will save you money in the long run to have a set of plans drawn up and stick to the plan as you build.
