The problem with those cameras is that they are crazy expensive and dont have the near the resolution when it comes to getting license numbers. But, its the same problem with farm equipment. I've had people pass me on the shoulders, blind curves, etc. Just yesterday, we were moving the combines down the road and the guy ahead of me radioed that a bus was heading towards us. Somewhat of a blind curve with a creek crossing so I made sure we were right of center. No sooner than we moved over some idiot tried passing us from the rear. Id recommend getting the autoboy app for smart phones and using them as dash cams. We all have Samsung S9 plus so the videos are in 4k and can select 5 -20 min videos loops.
Dash cam's are cheap . . . . 4k dash came $100 bucks or less. Very, very good license plate pic's and vid's .. . . .. ..
