If we stay at 6 something beans (hope not) that could shift economics to another crop in the Dakotas (just using as an example could be any other state) . Also I don't think China will pay 10+ dollars to Brazil if ours could be had for 7.50 with tariff included.
Or heaven forbid we do go to loan rate 4.72 X 25 % Tarriff 5.90 Making soybeans less profitable for Brazil farmers = less expansion.

But you are also forgetting China already was helping with Brazilian infrastructure. Might make it happen faster but is already happening.

I admit I have no answers just wondering where it is all headed myself.
