Its’ not the rain forest they are expanding soy production in it is the cerrado of Mato Grosso. Logistics of growing and transporting the crop are the main limiting factors and also capital.
Yep and the environmentalists are already on their butts about that expansion and how it ruining the ecosystem.
Unless you want even more production weighing on the markets, you should be happy that environmentalists are preventing them from developing land quite so rapidly.
