Probably. Only 36, wife and I both have good jobs, I'm to stubborn to quit my hobby. I'll quit job first.

on edit, if 5 months of bad prices has you questioning weather you'll make it, YOU WON'T.

The USA as a country hasn't even begun to feel any "pain" from this. Ask anyone outside of ag, they have no clue anything "bad" is happening.

Exactly. Us little feeble <2% of the population are nothing in the grand scheme of the economy.

Sign on bonuses for local companies have hit $6500 I have seen. The economy is roaring and incomes are higher than ever according to some measures. Highways are plugged with vehicles and traffic. EVERY restaurant you visit has help wanted signs. Some companies are waiving requirement for a college degree they are so desperate for workers.

Maybe if farming is so tough we all need to go out and get extra jobs. Which historically has been a common practice for many of us during lean times.
