If you think this is a wild ride you should try feeding $1,000,000 worth of cattle.
If prices remained at this level for 20 years I will still be in business. The land won’t go fallow and I am a low cost producer.
Might do something different then straight corn and soybeans. Maybe turn 1/3 on the land to pasture and run more cows.
Don’t know how many times I’ve had folks say they’d like to have cows, if only they had pasture.
I tell them they still sell grass seed. |
